Spring is our favourite time of the year on the nursery. The plants below are those we consider to be spring performers. The colour starts with those bulbs that flower in the grey months of later winter, and ends with the plants whose flowers fill the ‘May gap’, as the garden transitions from the promise of spring with the fullsomeness of mid-summer.
From January each year we sell a small number of bulbs ‘in the green’ in 2 litre containers. These can be planted in the garden when you receive them, or kept in their pots (or moved to decorative pots) for an easy spring display.
